German Car Depot used to be my mechanic when I used to live in Florida (back when they were called VDepot! Always the same great owners though). I moved to another state over 10 years ago but this month I was visiting family in Broward and ended up needing a wheel sensor replaced on my vehicle which became faulty during the drive down. Although I only requested that item to be checked/worked, they still performed a very thorough inspection of the vehicle and provided additional recommended services. I didn't proceed with any of the additional recommended services because I will get those taken care of while back at my home state, but they were not pushy at all when I declined the other services. They offer a before/after hours drop off (and pick up) which I utilized due to other obligations I had that day, and within 1.5 hours of them having opened the shop they had already contacted me via text message with a link to the full inspection (which included photos and comments) and a quote for the recommended repairs. When I called them to ask some questions they were prompt, knowledgeable and polite. The vehicle was ready for me to pick up after lunch that same day, and the pick up process (during business hours) was also quick and smooth. I am glad that German Car Depot is a mechanic I can trust while visiting South Florida and I will recommend them to friends and family that live in the area.

I’ve taken my car here a couple of times and each time I was treated not so good by Richie in the office who in my opinion has Very bad customer service skills and needs training, he has to be related to the owner maybe that’s why he’s still working there but I don’t think he’s a good fit there
