This was my 1st time here and I will definitely return & recommend. Louis, the service manager , was very helpful in explaining the issues found & the cost of repairs. I am well informed on auto mechanics and did not feel any pressure to have work performed that was not necessary. I feel this is a state of the art shop with the latest tools and technologies available. As a bonus, their website , text messaging reminder service and electronic newsletter seem to be great ways to stay informed.

My wife has a VW Beetle and had an oil leak. After an over quote and a bit of sarcasm for our lack of knowledge at a local dealer we left and went to GCD. They agreed on the oil leak problem the dealership found, but also were very patient in educating us of the problem. They provided a great price for the work and finished in a reasonable time. We both feel comfortable bringing her car to German Car Depot as they are friendly and professional. We always recommend them to friends with VW's.

You found the solution that addressed all the symptoms and gave me the information to make sure there was not a factory recall on the failed cylinder coils. Service was very prompt and you took into consideration that we were waiting. You gave an accurate prediction on the time needed; another big plus for me. The car wash was a nice surprise. I was a little disappointed that we did an unnecessarily early oil change, apparently because you believed yours was the last place I had done a change and I understood your recommendation was based on the quality of the oil in the car. A look at the oil change sticker would have revealed this. But I rate this service as very good, and have had very good to excellent service overall at German Car Depot, and I consider that very high compliment for a cautious customer to a car repair shop. I came to your shop even though I have moved much farther away now. i plan to continue.

My engine light was flashing. Vehicle was towed to German Car Depot. Problem was ignition coil which I had recently received a recall notice from VW headquarters. GCD had the car as promised. Staff stayed late because my ride was stuck in traffic.
