I drive a Porsche and taking my car to a Porsche dealer for any type of service was just WAYYYY too much money. Its been a few years now that I have struggled to find a shop that deals with Porsche vehicles, knows how to treat the car and won't rape me with the price. The past few years I had nothing but bad experiences to the point that Ive learned to do a lot of the maintenance myself. It wasn't until recently I discovered German Car Depot after doing some research online. I had to do a major service, changing the rotors, brake pads and sensors which was out of my league of expertise. All it took was a phone call for me to realize the level of professionalism of this company. The staff was very knowledgable and were very helpful by quoting my service over the phone. I verified the quote by doing some research and everything checked out. I took my car in and again was a pleasurable experience. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Once I received the car after the job was completed, everything was was perfect! I was very happy with the service. A week later I had a major breakdown. I had the car towed to German Car Depot. They immediately took my car in and began to work on it. Again, I did some research online and found out what I thought was the cause of my breakdown. The problem was the amount of damage that particular breakdown can cause the engine. It can range from minimal to really, really major. I was really worried to be honest. I dropped the car off on a Friday and my car was ready the following Tuesday. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as I feared! They fixed the car and gave me a full explanation of what happened and what they repaired. Again, everything checked out. Staff were very honest and helpful and I couldn't ask for better service. Any other shop I feel would of taken advantage of the situation. I finally found my auto shop. Alan and his crew are awesome and I recommend this shop to anyone who loves their car as much as I do. Hope this review helps anyone who is as frustrated as I was on where to take their vehicle for service.
