The team at GCD continues to impress me. This was my second service, and in addition to the oil change due, i had them look at a couple other things. One of the items was, what i thought might be a bad wheel bearing. They thought so too and replaced it, but the noise didnt go away. Since the noise remained, they only charged me the cost of the part. They spent a number of hours trying to figure out the source of the noise, and didnt bill me for it. Im confident we'll get to the bottom of it, its just a matter of time. The other issue was a warning light for the ABS. They told me that replacing the sensor may or may not fix the issue. The sensor was replaced, and they also found a bad connection that they replaced. Probelm solved. My guess is the dealer would have put a new main unit in and happily passed on the over $1000 cost. GCD once again under promised and over delivered. Ive already recommended GCD to other VW driving friends, and will continue to do so. I really appreciate their "old fashioned" way - personal attention and excellent customer service.

During my first trip there, they provided the service as described and for one issue, went significantly beyond (in terms of labor) and fortunately, did not hit me with the bill. The staff was very friendly and the work completed quickly given the situation. Previously, I used a dealer for everything - this is now my go-to.
