Overall experience was Average. Service rendered was for an oil change and inspection as part of service. I’ve been going to GCAD for several years and quite possibly the timing of service during the holidays could’ve influenced this rating. The gap to 5 star are the following 1) customer follow up versus service follow up 2) inspection report communicated once I had requested on status of the vehicle 3) After 2 weeks a customer loyalty program offering attention to detail (car cleaned / discounts applied beyond the basic) 4) car didn’t start the next day due to battery but it could’ve been my oversight if I left a light on but am positive I didn’t. I’ll give GCAD benefit of doubt. 5) simple fix for part that cost $17 however labor over $130 Regards 2008 Audi A6

These guys are way better than dealership service depts. They always show you what needs done and complete it in an efficient manner. Completely trustworthy and transparent in their approach which is unfortunately uncommon. We’ve taken our cars (VW & MB) here for 15 years because of their level of service and ease of transaction.

This is a great group of professionals who perform outstanding work!!! They are also competitively priced so I didn't feel at all as if I was being taken advantage of. I panicked when I had to drop my 2015 Audi A3 Premium off for work, but my experience with them will definitely cause me to use them again whenever needed... prayerfully, no time soon. 😊

**UPDATE** After returning the car, Alan (the owner) and his team spent the next 24-48 hours performing the corrections needed to ensure that the vehicle worked properly. I was well pleased with the fact Alan (the owner) sent me a text first thing in the AM as a follow-up, and concluded the final inspection / close-out with a one-on-one phone call. It has been more than 48 hours, and the vehicle has been running without any hick-ups, and honestly performs a lot better in some areas! In conclusion, Alan and his team were HONEST, PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, and more than fair in discounting their labor costs on any additional items that were brought to light. I'M SOLD! This vehicle will be returning to German Car Depot for it's next oil change and repair (if needed). Thank you!! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ We picked up our Volkswagen Tiguan on 12/31/19 after having the water pump replaced, a sensor replaced and some work done on the intake manifold. The car was running perfectly for the first 15 minutes...however, it started losing power and shaking as we approached Bayside for the New Years Celebration. We decided to watch the fireworks and not let car issues ruin the evening...but, upon returning to drive home, the car would not start. I'm in the process of having it towed back to German Car Depot, in Hope's that they will fix the problem tomorrow 1/2/20. I'm really hoping that it's due to an oversight in the repair process. Cant really afford another $1,300.00 bill.
