I had mixed experiences with GCD. They are always great and professional but sometimes you feel they are not overcharging you and other times you know that it what they are asking is excessive. The thing that we can not deny is they know what they are doing with German cars so if you have a serious problem this is the place.

Quality very very very Excellent! I just read Michael White’s review and was very surprised about the whole scenario. I am the original owner of my 99 VW Jetta and have been going there since my Warranty ran out. In my experience I have absolutely no complaints of any kind With The German Car Depot. A year ago my transmission had a catastrophic failure the first replacement a used transmission was installed which did not work properly after a time, standing behind there warranty with no extra charge of any kind it was replaced and is still functioning perfectly. This was the biggest job done by them, and like the many smaller and sometimes perplexing electrical computer problems the solution was found and corrected swiftly and at the least expense possible. They are an honest business with fully competent mechanics in the shop. Sincerely, Joseph McComas

I have been taking my 1989 Beetle to GCD for over a year now and they have truly helped me get my car back in running order. I have never once felt taken advantage of by them. They are all very professional, informative, helpful and friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

In German Depot, service is excellent. They explain clearly all the work performed in the car and they don't try to add unnecessary items. I'll come back for regular maintenance. Highly recommended.

Went on a Saturday and the owner is right there overseeing everything. The same service on my Touareg at the VW dealership wanted 700 vs GCD 170. Very clean and efficient shop. In SFL hard to find reputable honest places, but GCD seems to be a diamond in the rough.

GCD is as good as it gets. Well, they could offer espresso to make it better. How nice to find a place that offers the care of an older vehicle or one you just really love that's not running up to par. This is the second time I have used them and never want to go back to a VW dealer again really. GCD is professional and their staff really kind if you happen to have questions. They recommend exactly what needs to be done and are never pushy. The office and garage are very clean and cool AC if you have to wait. I live very far away and they evaluate my car so I can decide whether yo wait or not. Take your german car here for the best treatment.

I've had a lot of people fix my 2002 Audi A6 in the last 6 years I have owned it, but these guys are by far the best I have seen besides the dealer (which costs twice the price). In some ways, the customer care they give you is better than the dealer. I had an emergency flood in my car after a hard rain. I had no idea what to do since my car didn't start. I called GCD and the owner, Alan, talked to me and assured me they could handle it. He even knew that it was a draining issue in the hood that I had no idea about. I got it towed over there and dropped the car off hoping my car would run again. They dried my car out and got all the water out of the car. They also sealed the leak by cleaning out the drains. Finally, they got me a good deal on a used transmission computer since my other one was fried due to flooding under the floor board. And now my car is back up and running! I also went back to get my CV boots and control arms done there. Alan gave me a very fair price for the amount of labor involved. I went to another guy previously that didn't work with Audis and he wanted to charge me more for less work. After doing that I noticed my car was a little out of alignment. I took it back and they fixed the issue at no charge because I had previously paid before for that service. When they say they warranty their work, they mean it. He even fixed my headlight issue. If you have an Audi or VW, don't go to the run of the mill auto shops around South Florida that don't understand your car. Don't pay an arm and a leg at the dealer. Go to German Car Depot for great service and a fair price.
