Breaking down stinks, but if you are an Audi or VW owner, this is certainly a repair shop that can lift your spirits a little. They aren't perfect, and like every shop, they will look at database for the estimate, but they are honest and if it can be done cheaper, they'll do it that way. For example, I had a leaky head gasket on my RS6, the computer says a lot of parts have to come out; the guys are GCD thought they might be able to get it done a different way, much cheaper. Sure enough, they did it. How often do you hear a story like that? On another occasion, my AC went out and I brought it in. I said I suspected a pressure switch. The tech thought it was compressor. Later that afternoon they called and confirmed that it was a pressure switch, only a $40 repair. Of course, I would never have known if they had told me it was the compressor. I love these guys.

Came from out of state and needed leaked coolant replaced. Took care of it quickly professionally, courteously, and didn’t charge me. Will return if I ever need service in the area.

2013 GTI - We had a check engine light. Also the car was experiencing a shutter/miss fire problem most noticeably when the engine was cold. I initially treated the problem with “sea foam” with negative results. My wife and I took our car to GCD. They diagnosed the problem quickly and took time to explain what our options were. They were friendly and most importantly honest. I truly believe they saved me time and money. I highly recommend them. My car is running great now! Thank you!

Came here thinking I was gonna get overcharged on getting my car fixed. That was not the case. Employees were very helpful and suggested the things I need on my car. Saved me money instead of going to the dealership and getting something fixed that I didn’t need. Will definitely be back here for my car needs.

After recently purchasing a VW, I was looking to find a place that I can trust to take care of my car besides the bogus, overpriced dealership. This place is amazing, the service is quality, and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. And they are pretty accurate on the time frame the give you for the work to be done on your car.

After using German Car Depot for a front rotor and brake pad replacement on my Audi I will likely forego getting any future maintenance done at the dealership. The establishment seemed very knowledgeable, was eager to be of assistance/answer questions, and price was substantially less than what was quoted at the dealer service department.
