To Flush or Not to (Radiator) Flush

The fluid prevents the water from freezing over in cold temperatures and from boiling in hot temperatures. Coolant is also responsible for lubricating the water pump and other neighboring components.    The majority of modern-day vehicles typically have cooling systems that are intended to last up to 100,000 miles or more.
